Session Handoff — Virtual Restyle: Phases 2+3 full build + structure-check fix (code complete, verified, not deployed)

Where it started

Sondra pasted the Phase 1 handoff (re-home off Lovable, done + verified) and said: keep moving, build EVERYTHING per FABLE-BUILD-PROMPT.md without stopping at every little thing, hold the Cloudflare deploy (deploy when there's more to show), and never touch her original repo/main. Mid-session she hands-on tested and reported two issues: first-pass staging altered the room structure (removed a bay window), and the landing page mentioned "Pro" only in an orphan footnote. Both fixed same session.

Decisions locked + what shipped

• All work lives on branch relaunch-v2 of AmplifAI-Your-Business/testvirtualrestyle — her main untouched (her explicit ask). Push uses GITHUB_ORG_TOKEN (NOT the personal token). Commits: 661f922 (Phase 1), 267234a (Phases 2+3 + safety fixes), da959da (structure check).
• Phase 2 built + verified: MLS Compliance Kit (src/components/ComplianceKit.tsx, src/lib/compliance.ts — "Virtually Staged" watermark everywhere, original-alongside, labeled+clean+disclosure.txt zip, AI-disclosure toggle); targeted edit loop (src/components/EditRoom.tsx + supabase/functions/edit-room/) — mask brush → Gemini → client composite, pixel-diff proved 0 changed pixels outside the mask (exact) after fixing the composite to use the same JPEG re-encode Gemini sees; chips + example library + structure-guard regex + Remove It mode (all verified live in browser).
• Phase 3 built + verified: never-expiring credits (migrations 20260704120000_credits_and_compliance.sql + 20260704150000_lock_down_rpcs_and_storage.sql; spend_generation/refund_generation/grant_credits; server-side-only spend — also fixed a pre-existing double-spend bug); Stripe TEST mode packs $19/10cr + $59/40cr + Pro $29/mo via inline price_data (nothing pre-created in Stripe); stripe-webhook signature-verified + idempotent; GHL sync (signup tag client-side via ghl-sync, purchase tags in webhook) — verified against her real GHL, test contact deleted; Landing honesty fix (fake 4.9★/73%/"hundreds of agents" removed, compliance-led hero); in-app /privacy + /terms (src/pages/Legal.tsx); branding centralized (src/lib/brand.ts, src/lib/billing.ts mirrors supabase/functions/_shared/billing.ts).
• /app-safety-check run, 3 MUST-FIXes found + fixed + re-verified: refund_generation credit-minting hole (now service_role-only; user call → 403), stagings storage bucket flipped private (public URL 400, signed URLs still serve), check-subscription crash on active subs (leftover productId). Plus: global ErrorBoundary in src/App.tsx, working forgot-password, Gallery load-failure state, password min 8.
• Structure check (her bug report): stage-room now judges every staging with a second vision model (gemini-flash-latest, env GEMINI_JUDGE_MODEL) comparing original vs staged structure → auto-retry once with the judge's findings in the prompt → if still failing, auto-refund + structureVerified:false → amber banner + "you were not charged" toast in UI. Judge validated against her exact drifted pair (correctly flagged the removed bay window); clean pass verified live (~33s). Landing Pro line now links to /pricing.
• Verification evidence: backend suite 9/9 (scratchpad/test_backend.py — webhook sig reject/grant/replay-idempotent, checkout test URLs, GHL); browser E2E (credit staging clean, edits, removal, compliance zip contents inspected, landing/pricing/legal); credit ledger reconciled 10→3 across all test generations (incl. her own UI test). LAUNCH ADDENDUM (2026-07-04 evening) — LIVE at https://virtualrestyle.com

Sondra's go: "put my domain on it, everything working." Shipped same session, commit 67814e6 on relaunch-v2:

• Cloudflare Pages project virtualrestyle (redeploy: npm run build && npx wrangler pages deploy dist --project-name virtualrestyle --branch main). apex + www DNS flipped from Lovable A-records to the Pages deployment (old Lovable app untouched = rollback path).
• CORS pinned: shared supabase/functions/_shared/cors.ts allow-list (domain, www, localhost:8080); all 13 functions redeployed. Verified: preflight echoes domain, foreign origins refused.
• Stripe LIVE: STRIPE_SECRET_KEY = restricted live key (STRIPE_API_KEY_MAIN), live webhook we_1TpYjMRvzUwDwHkjMj3mofpi -> stripe-webhook fn, STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET updated (copy: session scratchpad vr_whsec_live.txt). Live checkout page verified in browser (not paid). NOTE: restricted key CANNOT create billing-portal sessions -> customer-portal fn will 500 for Pro subscribers; add "Customer portal" write scope to the key in Stripe dashboard (or use full secret key) before first Pro sub.
• Supabase auth: site_url=https://virtualrestyle.com, redirect allow-list domain+www+localhost, mailer_autoconfirm OFF (signups now need email confirmation).
• Google sign-in button HIDDEN (GOOGLE_SIGNIN_ENABLED=false in src/pages/Auth.tsx) - provider was never configured; flip after Google Cloud OAuth setup.
• Verified live: sign-in, /app, /pricing, live checkout open; smoke test done via Playwright on the live domain.
• Still open: Supabase free-plan idle pause (upgrade $25/mo = her decision); showcase images still stock; Phase 0 distribution test skipped by her call - still the recommended first marketing move.
