Session Handoff — Why Dachshunds short-form scripts + Agent Opus production + badger-rewrite

Where it started

Sondra wanted short-form (~45s) scripts for all 250 Why Dachshunds videos, mirroring the existing long-forms, made in Agent Opus and downloaded to D:. Mid-session she caught that ~80% of scripts explained every behavior via "bred to hunt badgers," so the scripts were fully rewritten with question hooks + diversified answers. Hard constraint that emerged late: she is out of Agent Opus credits until Tuesday night (~2026-07-02) - do NOT make any new videos until then.

Decisions locked + what shipped

• 250 short scripts, v2 (current source of truth) - c:\Users\srver\AIOS-Workspace\aios-starter-kit\PROJECTS\YT - Why Dachshunds Channel\Why_Dachshunds_MASTER_Tracker_v23.xlsx, column "Short Script v2 (Q-hook ~45s)". v22 (column "Short Script (~45s)") is the archived v1 (badger-heavy) scripts the first 68 videos were made from.
• Script formula: Jenny Hoyos 5-beat (question hook -> foreshadow -> setup -> but/therefore -> payoff), ~45s. Every hook is a question. Answers diversified (sensory/anatomy/psychology/bonding/memory/personality); heritage/badger only where genuinely the cause (~1-in-6). • CTA = Option B: payoff -> comment question -> signature "follow for the reason behind every weird thing your dachshund does" (health topics: "...keeping your dachshund healthy"). No "subscribe"/link-in-bio (cross-platform); never points to the long-form. Based on real Jenny Hoyos shorts (she ends on payoff, never a subscribe beg).
• Agent Opus maker - c:\Users\srver\AIOS-Workspace\aios-starter-kit\scripts\dachshund\make_shorts_with_actors.py: 9:16, captions ON, Sondra voice, Animation, all 6 Mia images, Seedance 2.0, raw script (no TACKL prompt), reads v23/v2 column. Create-only default; --confirm exists but AO rejects confirm-fast in the review phase (videos auto-render via the review-gate deadline anyway).
• Made 68 V1 videos (#1-68; #1 was Sondra's manual one) and 25 V2 remakes (#1-6,9,10,12,14,15,16,18,20,21,25,30-38).

• python scripts/dachshund/make_shorts_with_actors.py --numbers 69,70 --preview - zero-spend; should read the v23 v2 column and list word counts (confirms maker points at v23).
• Check folders: D:\Videos\000-YT Why Dachshunds\SHORTS\Batch 1 = 20, Batch 2 = 20; Version 1-Badger Shorts\Batch 1 = 14, Batch 2 = 39, _manual-extras = 3.
• python scripts/dachshund/download_and_sort_shorts.py - idempotent; re-running should sort 0 new and report the same final tally.

Deferred + open questions

• Deferred: 28 badger numbers still to remake (#40-49, 51-68) with v2 scripts - blocked on credits until Tuesday (~2026-07-02). Trigger: "remake the rest".
• Deferred: #69-250 forward production never started - will auto-use v2 scripts via the maker.
• Open: none needing input - the path is clear, just credit-gated.
• Note: confirm-fast is rejected by Agent Opus in the refinement phase; renders auto-continue after the review-gate deadline, so create-only is sufficient.
