Session Handoff — BuildPlan (Idea Engine rebuild): Phase 1 built end-to-end on own stack with Fable 5

Where it started

Sondra decided to rebuild the PaidCreators "Idea Engine" as her own product (community-first, credit-metered later), rejected Base44/Emergent in favor of her own stack (Supabase + Cloudflare + her Stripe + her API keys), skipped /roast (proven product, warm audience, she's not in Travis's community), approved a PRD, switched the session model to Fable 5, and said build. Differentiators locked in the PRD: smart intake with ICA sharpen, guardrails input, context-aware research that builds ON existing businesses, build-tool-tuned build prompt as the headline deliverable, no dark-pattern re-renders, prepaid credits so she can never lose money.

Decisions locked + what shipped

• PRD approved — c:\Users\srver\AIOS-Workspace\aios-starter-kit\PROJECTS\Idea-Engine-TravisCopy\PRD-idea-engine-v1.md (+ .html render). Working name "BuildPlan" (placeholder, §14 decisions still open).
• Supabase org upgraded to Pro ($25/mo, Sondra approved) + new project buildplan-idea-engine = kgxwuhkvoyvrnifvlnqz ($10/mo, approved). us-east-1, ACTIVE_HEALTHY.
• App lives at c:\Users\srver\AIOS-Workspace\aios-starter-kit\PROJECTS\Idea-Engine-TravisCopy\app\ — Vite+React, own git repo on main (8 commits, no remote yet). .env.local gitignored (verified).
• Schema: user_credits, purchases, research_runs (+title col), saved_ideas, gameplans, credit_ledger; RLS on all; spend_credits() atomic w/ CHECK balance>=0 (overspend-refusal verified); add_credits() idempotent on stripe_session_id (double-credit refusal verified live); signup trigger grants 100 starter credits (verified).
• Edge functions deployed (all ACTIVE): sharpen (free ICA sharpen), research (5 credits, async 202+poll, sonar-pro via OpenRouter + Sonnet 5 structuring, refund-on-failure verified twice, generates run titles), generate-gameplan (10 credits, 202+background, 3 parallel artifacts: 14-section Strategic Plan + 16-part tool-tuned Build Prompt + pitch JSON; verified twice — 20k-char plan, 56k-char build prompt, 12 citations), create-checkout + stripe-webhook (TEST mode; sig-reject/credit-add/idempotency all verified).
• Stripe: test key saved to master .env as STRIPE_TEST_SECRET_KEY; webhook endpoint id we_1TpBsWRvzUwDwHkj8SX3SDgM, signing secret set as Supabase secret STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET. Secrets also set: ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, OPENROUTER_API_KEY, STRIPE_SECRET_KEY (test).
• Sondra's live UX feedback fixed: sharpen now has explicit Use This / Keep Mine buttons editing the actual field; research async (0.6s response verified); Dashboard lists research runs (her 2 "lost" runs were complete server-side, charged correctly, now visible).
• Design: first pass (purple editorial) REJECTED by Sondra. Rebranded to her amplifai-video-studio-theme exact tokens (navy #1E2530/#2A3A4A, gold #C9A97B, cream #F5F1ED, Playfair+Manrope). Killed AI-design tells from her reference video (https://youtu.be/iVRsoSG3WuI): NO eyebrow/kicker labels, NO gradient/colored italic headline words, NO emojis anywhere in UI. Research runs = compact rows (AI title bold + truncated query under). Keep this standard for ALL future UI work on this app.
• Credit ledger table + Account page (stat cards, purchases, running-balance history) matching the reference app.

• Dev server: Vite on http://localhost:4901, started detached (npx vite --port 4901, no tracked shell ID). Kill: powershell "Get-NetTCPConnection -LocalPort 4901 | % { Stop-Process -Id $_.OwningProcess -Force }". Restart: cd app && npx vite --port 4901.

• Stripe TEST webhook we_1TpBsWRvzUwDwHkj8SX3SDgM enabled -> points at the deployed stripe-webhook fn.

Verification — how to confirm things still work

Deferred + open questions

• Open: Sondra's in-browser click-through of the navy/gold redesign + fake-card purchase (4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry/CVC/ZIP) — she hadn't done it yet.
• Open: feature pick-list from the reference app — (1) Discover trending Reddit cards, (2) Chat/bounce-ideas, (3) Training tab (recommended order). She hasn't chosen.
• Open (PRD §14): real product name (BuildPlan = placeholder), pack pricing ($19/50 · $49/150 · $99/400 placeholders), starter allotment (100), community access model, which build tools at launch.
• Deferred: /app-safety-check before ANY real user/payment — must include: re-enable email confirmation, prod CORS origins in supabase/functions/*/cors.ts (currently localhost-only allowlist), privacy policy, live Stripe key swap.
• Deferred: Cloudflare deploy (no real URL yet), git remote (private repo push).
• Deferred: PeptidePal migration off Emergent onto this same stack (her stated follow-on).
• Note: outputs/paidcreators-teardown/ + PROJECTS/Idea-Engine-TravisCopy/ remain gitignored/untracked in the workspace repo (carryover); the app has its own repo.
