Session Handoff — BookifAI: cloned book app → off-Lovable KDP children's-book studio (Phase 1-2 built)

Where it started

Sondra pasted a GitHub repo (github.com/AmplifAI-Your-Business/remix-of-bookify-ai-studio — a Lovable/PushTen book-writing app by Brian Hansen) and asked to merge it with her children's-book-studio skill, take it OFF Lovable, build it on her own stack, and eventually a Base44 version. Workflow: create project folder + scaffolding + in-depth PRD + a Fable 5 build prompt, then actually build. She confirmed it's a real SaaS product (multi-user), Claude writes / Gemini draws, one-time + credits pricing (NO monthly), plus a later whitelabel/resell product. /roast returned RESHAPE but she rejected the "sell a workshop, don't build" part and greenlit building the tool — demand already validated (she published "The Light Inside Her" on KDP in 24h, 20+ people asked to learn).

• Brand = BookifAI (Bookif-AI), buying bookifai.app (her purchase, not yet owned). Rebranded from "Big Worm" everywhere.
• Theme = navy/gold/cream Video Studio (exact hexes #2A3A4A/#C9A97B/#F5F1ED), Playfair+Manrope. All purple ("ube"/"slushie" template colors) remapped to brand at tailwind.config.ts. AI-tell eyebrows removed.
• Her real book cover (the-light-inside-her.jpg) is the landing hero + a rounded navy logo (bookifai-logo.png) in nav/auth/favicon.
• Off Lovable: all AI now via OpenRouter (her OPENROUTER_API_KEY, server-side secret). Writing = anthropic/claude-sonnet-5, images = google/gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview. 4 functions swapped in PROJECTS/Bookify AI Studio/app/supabase/functions/.
• Own Supabase project: bookify-ai-studio ref umnlokuehteqwrheoyai (FREE org foeliowlfikzqfwyxcst, $0/mo). Full schema + RLS applied. App .env points at it; .env untracked+gitignored.

• Supabase edge functions deployed to umnlokuehteqwrheoyai: ideation-chat, generate-title, generate-toc, generate-chapter, generate-illustration, export-ebook.

Deferred + open questions

• Deferred: Stripe billing + credit enforcement — the 15-illustration cap is promised on the pricing page but not metered; needs the who-paid/what's-included/what's-used system. This is where money + abuse protection live.
• Deferred: /app-safety-check before ANY public deploy; then deploy (Cloudflare/Vercel); then bookifai.app once Sondra buys it.
• Deferred: Base44 version — Base44 now imports GitHub; confirm it can run the Supabase edge functions + print rendering, or adapt to Base44-native.
